After finishing high school, I decided to enroll in Camden County College's computer science program because of an interest I had developed in my Robotics course during my senior year of highschool. I had also built/assembled gaming computers for myself and friends so majoring computer science just seemed like it would be a good next step for me. Before beginning college, I had never written a line of code before.
I initially went to Camden County College from August of 2018 until May of 2020. At CCC, I took most of my general education courses, calculus & math courses and some beginner programming courses. At CCC I was introduced to coding languages like C++, Java, Ada, Python & x86 Assembly.
During the Covid pandemic, I transfered to Rowan University. I attended my entire Junior year online and finished my senior year on in person. At Rowan, I continued learning languages like Java & Python, but I was introduced to other languages like C, Prolog & Scheme. I finished Rowan University with a 4.0 GPA, reciveing all A's in all of the courses I took. I graduated in May of 2022, Suda Cum Laude.
I participated in Rowan University's 2022 Hackathon "ProfHacks" that was sponsored by the schools's electrical & computer engineering department. While most of the particpants were Electrical & Computer Engineering majors, I was one of the only computer science majors to attend. I won 1st place at this hackathon with a laravel web app called "ProfsForChange". You can view the source code for it here. And you can view the "devpost" for it here.
